Colour legends on a Map

Hi, I have created a map using a Postcode as Location and the Name as the legend and the rates as the size.  It all looks as expected but I would like to make all the points on the map the same colour rather than a different colour for each point.  I can customize these by going to the format section and data colour but I then have to manually update every legend (over 600) to make them all the same colour.  Is there an easier way to do this?

Thanks, Clare.

There is no alternative easy way for your case as your chart contains three different fields and It customizes data colours according to granularity and no. of data fields/columns used for report preparation. In your case, you would like to use Names as legend and Rates as sizes. These both are the two different columns and PBI automatically picks up this diffference to differentiate each and every data point which is neccessary as well. If you would prepare your report with any two of the fields, You will see the desired result as you are expecting but using more than two different fields/columns in the report visuals will generate all the data point colors distinct.

Hope this has clarified yor underastanding.

Thanks Bhavesh, can I check then I am using the free version of power bi so my data is not refreshing automatically, this means that if I refresh the data once a month and re-import I will need to re-format the colours.  If I move to the paid version which auto refreshes, will the colour formatting revet to default every time and mean I the colours will change as the data refreshes?

        Hi ClareDa

Your format will stay as it is you set up using the older versions of the PBI. It doesn't have any concerns with the Data Refresh.
