Colour data points on a map according to category
I am using the map item and I want to plot two different types of info with each shown as a different colour
I have the latitude and Longitude points and have added these in the correct areas. I then add unique ID in the location
I create a filter so that I can filter on the record and it all works fine.
I then add the type to the legend which is made up of 2 options. In my data only one owner’s records have 2 different types
When I select any owner of records except the one with 2 different types the map works fine. When I select the owner with the 2 different types no points are shown on the map.
How do I get the map to show the 2 different types each in a different colour?

I created some sample data but cannot repro your problem. Please help check if my screenshot below is the result you want. I’m using the latest Version: 2.36.4434.381 64-bit (June 2016).
If your problem still persists, could you please provide your sample data? And a screenshot of problem replication would be preferred.

Thanks for the Reply. I have downloaded the latest version an i'm no getting thr same as you. While this solves half my issue, what i really want to be about to do is have the different types show different colours and not have the points show half and half.
So in you example Type A plotted points would be totally green and Type B would be Black.
Is this possible

If you drag some value like sales into Size, then we should be able to have type A and type B with different color and size.
