Colors are not saved

I use Power BI Desktop.

I create a filled map which have colors by default.

I edit colors with my own ones. I save the report and quit the application.

I re-open the report and the colors of the filled map are the default ones 😕

How can i correct it ?

Hi everyone. This should have been fixed in a recent update, but if you're still seeing the problem please Send a Frown!

I have experience this problem continually since the september update as suggested above. It appears to be a bug as the same issue is encountered on the web service.

I tried this just now and had the same experience. Custom color selections are not preserved on a Filled Map for me either.

Maybe this is because of the September update? Personally I don't have admin rights to install the update so I cannot double check. However I can tell you the experience of my boss, who does have admin rights. He installed the update when the notification came up but then when he opened up the file with the filled map the colours were back to default. I told him I don't have the problem so he is back on the same software version as me.

I see this problem too in the Service (online environment) and posted about it here. Hopefully the developers notice this and will provide a fix for it.
