Colors and Maps
I have specified the hex colors I want to appear as points in my map. However, the colors that appear on the map are different from the ones I have specified. (see below)
Do you know how I can fix that? Does Power BI expect hex or some other color code?
Thank you
| Property Type | Color code | Color I am Expecting | Color on Map |
| Leased | FF0000 | Red | Green |
| Owned | 0000FF | Blue | Purple |
| Commercial Morgtage | 00FF00 | Green | Blue |
| Auto | 00FFFF | Cyan | Red |
Hi Anonymous ,
Find the layer settings in the map, click Symbology -> Symbol Color -> Custom Color -> Set your custom color for your types -> Standard colors.

Hi Anonymous ,
You should be able to format the map visual under formatting pane.
Refer this for more info: https://www.mssqltips.com/sqlservertip/6106/power-bi-bubble-map-shape-map-and-filled-map-examples/

Thank you dkaushik . I see where I can specify a pin color, but don't see where I can specify the color depending on the pin. I did this in the file I showed previously, but the colors shown in the map are not the ones I am expecting. 😞
