Coloring states and highlighting specific points
I'd like to use a map to show both where our offices are located and highlight the states where we have customers (ideally with saturation/coloring to group them by management area or some metric). I can color the states or show where our offices are located, but I can't seem to do both at the same time - is there a way to accomplish both?
We have a manually maintained map now that I'd love to replace but it does both - please help me move it to Power BI!

If I map them by zip code, I get something like this that shows where our customers are located (this is a public map, but same idea). I can plot the office locations or take the average lat/long for each service group to highlight where we're located at a macro level:
I can do a state view with saturation set based on customer counts (below), which I think is what you're suggesting - that gets me most of the way there, but I'd also like to overlay dots for our office locations as well and I can't figure out how to do both of those things at once. Am I missing something about putting a second element on the maps, or is this a limitation of the current tools? The alternative (currently) is that somebody takes a state map like this one and manually drops the pins in it for our offices - I'd really like to automate that.
