Color in monochromatic scales

I'm aware that we're able to change colors in the specific theme. I was wondering however if we're able to color all values in a certain monochromatic scale. For example what I found very useful in Excel is it automatically suggests some scales as below. Is it possible to do this is Power BI, maybe with some plugin or something?

  • Hi carnage66 ,

You can create your own theme or modify an existing theme in Power BI. You can provide exact colors you want in that space and even create a completely new theme of color as per your need.

Look at the below image and the highlighted parts:

Thanks for the advice, that's what I'm currently doing. I was just wondering if there was a smarter way to do it because for example I've set my theme for blue pallete, however for some data I may want monochromatic red pallete.

        carnage66 ,

The themes are report specific and hence you can have just one theme across the report.

What you can possibly do is create a theme from Blue to Red but not sure if that will solve your issue of having both red and blue complete palletes.

You can keep one theme and then manually color the data visualizations you need as monochromatic red.
