Co-Pilot on Power BI Desktop Offline
Does Co-Pilot on Power BI Desktop still work if I have no internet connection? I am mainly interested in using Co-Pilot for assistance in building dax measures.
My concern I have with Co-pilot is the potential exposure of my data. Does Co-pilot send our data out into external servers (outside of my microsoft organization) in order for the AI to actually work? I do not want my data exposed outside of my Power BI workspace.
Hi! Here is an article with the details you are looking for, but the jist is that Copilot processes data within the Msft Cloud trust boundary - your data, including inputs and outputs, is stored securely in Msft Infrastructure. Msft does not share your data unless you give them permission to do so.
