Hello Friends,
I have created a Clustered bar chart where I list the total number of tickets in a ticket queue. I added a table visual to display the ticekt submitter's email address and a count of ticket they submitted. When I select an email address from the table visual, the bar chart changes and highlights the total user tickets within the total tickets submitted. When I look at the filters in the bar chart, I see one that says Included (1) and it lists the email from the drop down filter. When I remove the table visual and specify an email address in the Filters on all pages section; the bar chart does not give me a highlighted view rather is just counts the total tickets for the user. How do I create a highlighted visual without having a filter on the page?
Cheers,
Peter
Thank you for the reply. How do I apply a cross filter without having to click on a visual? Is that possible using a measure?
Cheers!
use the filter pane.
Thank you fro the reply. If I use the filter pane, then the filter changes from an Included filter/cross filter to a direct filter. I need to do a cross filter so the visual shows a percentage of the total.
Cheers!
Now you lost me. Maybe you can provide a sample pbix?

Hello - thank you for helping!
In the visual below, I click on the cyobbi@americanbus.com email address in the table visual and in the Idle days column visual it overlays the count of cyobbi's tickets over the total.
I want to remove the Ticket count table visual and when I assign cyobbi@americanbus.com Filters on all pages I get the following image:
What I want is the column viusal in the first image (the over lay). How do I get that?
Cheers,
Peter
check that your default interaction is set to cross highlighting, not cross filtering.
Thank you for the suggestion. I watched a few videos on the topic. I changed the setting value for this project to . I still get this -
when I want this:
When I specify the user in a "Filters on all pages" it still filters, when I want it to highlight the bar chart. Is there another way to make this visual? All I am trying to do is specify a user for the all pages filter and then have my bar chart highlight the users amount out of the toal?
Thank you!
Any other suggestions?
Are you trying to change the default interaction from cross filtering to cross highlighting?
