Hi Super User IV,
I figured it out after reading an article indicating if the value falls to less than or equal to 0 then it automatically defaults to linear and will not allow the logarithmic scale. Thank you for your assistance in this matter since for a time it was very puzzling.
lt79_Pax , Can you share a screenshot with Scale type property. If you are using line clustered visual , you will not get log option
