I have a clustered bar chart with 6 horizontal bars. I can't seem to get the bars to fill the full chart. Power BI is generally pretty intuitive at making good use of available space. But in this case, it is really bad. I've attached a picture of the chart. The clumsy green rectangles drawn by me show where I would like to see the bar chart expanded into.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Sure, I just made a dummy example to show you how to do it.
1-Create a disconnected table with the fields you wanna show:
2-Create a measure to show a different measure based on the selected field:
3-Add fields from the new table in the Y-Axis and the new Measure in the X-Axis.
If this works please mark accept this message as solution

Perfect, thank you so much. I need to get through my DAX book.
Hello,
That happens when your values comes from several measures, power BI will separate automatically the bars only when the segregation comes from the "Y-Axis" field, as far as I know in the graph itself there's no way to fix this.
My advice would be trying to fix this using dax and a calculated table.
Thank you gadielsolis.
You are correct, these are 6 measures all on the x axis. If I were to create a table such as
Loss Type - Loss Amount
"Productivity" - $10,000
"Response" - $12,000
... for all 6 measures
Could I then plot this?
Can you give me a hint on creating a dax table for the above?
thanks again
