Anonymous , if you are using URL parameter, then you always have a URL that does not have any parameter, that should work as a reset parameter?
True, I could send people to the URL with no parameters when they click on the button; however this will open the URL in a new tab won't it? This will disable the back button, and isn't the best experience.
