Clear Specific Slicers

I have a report that has 2 dropdown Slicers (Country, Region) then 2 Single Value input Slicers (Incoming, Outgoing).

I need a way to clear just the single value input slicers. I currently have a clear all button on the report but that also gets rid of the dropdown selections.

I know there is a workaround using bookmarks but, from what I can see, that only works if I want to reset the dropdowns back to a particular value which, in this case, will not work. Each user will be selecting different options in the dropdowns then inputting different figures to see the outcome.

I was hoping the Edit Interactions may help but it does not seem to apply to buttons.

Does anyone know of a way I can do this?

Example of how the report is used:

User1 will select a country and region and input amounts in the incoming and outgoing fields. After each input, they want to press a button that will clear the incoming and outgoing fields while leaving the country and region on what they have selected so they can input new numbers. They will then move on to a different country and region and will do the same actions.

User2 will select a different country and region and do the same actions.

Clear ONLY Incoming/Outgoing slicers (leave Country/Region selected)

View → Selection pane → Select only Incoming + Outgoing slicers (Ctrl+click)

View → Bookmarks → Add → Name "Clear Input Slicers"

Bookmark settings → Check "Selected visuals only" → Update

Add Button → Action → Bookmark → Select "Clear Input Slicers"

Hi @KatieH

Use bookmarks set to apply only to selected slicers, but make sure the slicer is cleared when you save the bookmark.

Hii @KatieH

Power BI does not support clearing only selected slicers with a button a button can only trigger Reset to default (which resets all slicers) or a bookmark, which always returns slicers to a fixed saved state, not to “current Country/Region but clear Incoming/Outgoing.” Because slicers cannot be partially reset dynamically, the only workaround is to separate the input slicers (Incoming/Outgoing) into a different page or pane and use a bookmark that resets only those visuals while leaving Country/Region untouched. At the moment, Power BI does not allow a button to clear specific slicers while keeping others as-is.
