Circular dependency with three related tables
I'm trying to create a calculated column to essentially reproduce the result that I can easily get in a visual. "Equipment" and "Complete" are from AMPHistory, "Remedial Completed" is from CurrentAMP.
However, when I try to write a formula for this column, this is what I get:
I think this is because AMPHistory and CurrentAMP are related through a third table, EquipmentFiltered, on the Equipment/Equipment ID field.
How can I fix this circularity in the calculated column? I need the cross-filtering on those relationships for other visuals in the report.

Hello ReadTheIron ,
Please Check if bidirectional filtering is enabled between the tables. If it is, and you don't need it for this specific calculation, disable the bidirectional relationship between AMPHistory and CurrentAMP in the EquipmentFiltered table. You can temporarily disable it to see if that resolves the circular dependency. If bidirectional filtering is necessary, you might need to introduce calculated columns or temporary tables in your formula to avoid the circular dependency..
If you find this helpful , please mark it as solution which will be helpful for others and Your Kudos/Likes are much appreciated!

Thanks for the suggestion! Yes, bidirectional filtering is enabled, but, as I mentioned, I need that for other visuals in the report. Also, I tried temporarily disabling it, and it didn't affect the circular dependency.

Hi ReadTheIron ,
Could you provide sample data and a screenshot of desired result?
