Chiclet Slicer Hyperlink Question

Total Power BI newbie here. In an older post, someone asked about what technique was used on this page https://powerbi.microsoft.com/fr-fr/customer-showcase/#1 and the response was that it was thought to be done with a chiclet slicer. I have downloaded and installed the chiclet slicer visual, and have begun playing around with it. I do not see that there is a way to link to a website from the slicer settings. Am I missing something? Is this even possible or would the slicer only affect reports and not have the ability to link to an outside URL? Looking to do something similar for a customer stories database and would like to have a cleaner way to link to the story's URL from the report rather than the text link. I have searched the community and viewed several videos and trainings around the chiclet slicer and have not been able to figure it out.
