Charting Monthly Data from different tables

I am trying to make a chart where i can show a monthly trend. Unfortunately, I get an excel worksheet that has extensive amount of data every month. The data is in the same format every month. I saw several threads on this and tried all the suggestions such as appending querries, made a folder querry and manually adding the data in one worksheet but the data is soo much that it seems impractical to manually add the data together.  Is there another option to trend monthly data that come from different tables?

any suggestions are appreciated.

Thank you

I did have trouble mkaing folder querries so i might have messed up in it. can someone guide me how to do that correctly, please?

  • When you choose a folder it gives you a list of files then on the bottom you have Combine,Load , Edit e Cancel.

On the combine you can choose Combine & Edit or Combine & Load.

  • Hi C097986,

The best way as you are refering is using the query from folders.

Check this link with a complete explanation and try to just follow the steps on PBI.

If you have any addtional issues please tell me.

i tried to follow the document but my version of powerbi desktop doesn't let me pick 'combine files' in the querry edit. I updated to the newest version and i still cannot see that option.
