Chart with multiple Columns/Legends
In Excel, I have the ability within a line chart to have multiple columns/legends. In PowerBI, this option is not available as I try to add a 2nd legend and it does nothing. Can this be accomplished?...
Power BI only supports one Legend field per visual. Unlike Excel, you can’t add multiple legends directly.
Workarounds:
Combine fields into a calculated column/measure to create a single legend (e.g. Category & " - " & SubCategory).
Use Small multiples (a separate chart per legend value).
Overlay visuals (two charts on top of each other) if you need different legends.
So: multiple legends like Excel = not directly supported, but can be simulated.
