As shown above, I've disabled the bar filter word cloud component, but you can see that the word cloud data has a reload, can you explain to me why that is, is there any other way to solve it.Hope to hear from you soon Thanks.
Hi @Gawain ,
As you can see from the screenshot, you have disabled the filtering effect of the bar chart on the word cloud component, but the word cloud chart still triggers a reload when you interact with the report, which according to past experience may be caused by the following reasons:
1. According to the default interaction mechanism of Power BI, all visualisation components (including slicers, charts, etc.) are automatically cross-filtered within the same page. Even if you disable the filtering effect of the bar chart on the word cloud, the filtering you click on affects other visualisation components and may still have an effect on the word cloud, causing it to reload. So please make sure you have disabled all but the interactions you wish to keep. Once disabled, the word cloud should no longer be affected by other components.
2. If your word cloud graph involves a large amount of data or complex data, Power BI may re-render the word cloud when the page loads or the filters change, which can also result in frequent reloads of the word cloud graph. This performance bottleneck may be related to the structure of the data model.
We have also tried to reproduce the issue you mentioned in our tests at the same time, but did not encounter the same situation. It's possible that our dataset is too simple to be as specific as you are, if you can provide some example data, it might help us better find a solution!
Hope it helps!
