Changing the fields presented

Is there anyway to change the fields presented on a chart based on a parameter chosen by the user, im connected to a an analysis service data source.

Hi @RafaelF,

Could you please describe more details about your requirement? If you mean that put fields dynamically into a chart based on user’s choice, it is not possible. I would recommend you submit an idea in this forum: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas .

Also please check if you want to select field in visualizations as described in this idea, if so, please vote it.

What i meant was a chart would present the data, and you would have a selection field to choose what to present.

 

eg:

 

A column chart and you could choose if you wanted to present avg, total or maximum,

or choose between presenting incoming calls or outgoing contacts.
