Changing text filter terms
Hello, I have a report with a text filter box. This filters a larger textual data set. If the user puts in something like a stock ticker can i change the ticker to the company name and pass that to the textual data viz which needs the company name to filter? I have a table set up to do the translation but i cant figure how to pass the new search term.
Ex: input MSFT --> translate to 'Microsoft' --> filter the text data
Ex: input Microsoft --> do nothing else --> filter the text data

You could create a new table with ticker and company name and link it to all your other table , then when you use ticker or company name as filter it will work as your expection:
