Changing scatter graph colour depending on other value

Hi,   In my table there's something called ring_number which is either 1, 2, 3 or 4, and obviously the x and y coordinates columns. Can I have the ring_number affect the colour of the point on the ...

The 'Legend' field will do this, but you can't use Legend and Color Saturation at the same time.  If this doesn't help you, can you post a sample of your data so we can attempt to simulate your desired visual.
