can anyone help me here? how to change the formats of number data type at visualization level .ie 0.5 to 50% or $0.5 without changing the column formats from the table.
I want these only during the visualization .ie in bar or line chart

You can create a Measure format it and use it in this specific Visual(s)
any other solution apart from calculating new measures? because it will add a new column to my table

Hi,
I advise you to create a measure by using FORMAT function to replace the original data which will not add a new column to your visual.
Measure is only calculated when it is used and is different from calculated columns, see this:
