Changing Time Dimension changes the data presentation incorrectly.
Hi,
I have a project status table and a date table and I am looking for the active projects between two dates. The measure works fine if I just use the date hierachy but I want it to show is a year quarter combo 2022-Q1, 2022-Q2, etc.
Changing the x axis from the date hierarchy to a quarter date combo, causes the quarterly counts to be incorrect.
The measure i am using is
This is showing the correct counts.This is not showing the correct counts and is dupilicating everything for every period
Anonymous , if you have already joined your date of the table with the date of calendar, then you do not need to use min and max to force the range
This should work
Calculate(DISTINCTCOUNT(vwJiraDistributionByQuarter_MODEL[IssueKey])
if needed add filter
Flows On Date =
VAR MAXDate=MAX(vwFiscalCalendar[CalendarDate])
VAR MINDate= MIN(vwFiscalCalendar[CalendarDate])
Return
Calculate(DISTINCTCOUNT(vwJiraDistributionByQuarter_MODEL[IssueKey]),
filter( vwJiraDistributionByQuarter_MODEL , vwJiraDistributionByQuarter_MODEL[CreatedOn]>=MINDate,
vwJiraDistributionByQuarter_MODEL[CreatedOnNext]<=MAXDate)
