Changing Themes Doesn't Change Map Default Color

Hi,

I think I found a bug. I changed themes earlier, and all of my map controls (I have one for each of about 24 report tabs) are still stuck on green bubbles instead of the new default blue specified by the new theme. I've tried clicking Revert to default, and that does nothing. The problem has persisted after updating.

Interestingly, if I create a new map, it has the new default blue color. I can switch back to the default theme, and the green comes back. I can switch to the new theme again, and the blue is back.

EDIT: I tried deleting and recreating one of my maps with the new color scheme, and it still created with the default green instead of the new default blue. I give up. Seriously. I don't get this at all.

This is quite frustrating, because all I can see to do now for a fix is to delete, recreate, reposition, and resize each map. All 24 of them.

Anyone else have this issue?

I haven't reproduced your issue. Once I import the theme, the data point color on existing map change automatically.

Make sure you update your Power BI Desktop into latest version.

I believe I addressed this in the post:

"The problem has persisted after updating."

I will add that for me, too, if I create a new report tab and a new map, it works. It doesn't work for any of the maps that already existed. I think I changed the color on maybe 4 of the 20+ maps. I reverted the 4 I changed back to default colors. The theme switching works on NONE, regardless of whether they ever had their colors changed.
