Helper IChange y-axis range back to auto
Hi All,
I have a stacked column chart and previously I have set the y-axis range to 3000. I now want to change it back to auto. I have tried deleting the '3000' but it remains. How do I achieve this?
I would just recreate it, but I have many tabs I need to do the same with, so if there is an easy way I'd be really happy!

Hi AmyD, as the others already said - you usually just have to delete the value from the "Maximum"-field. If it gets stuck for whatever reason and that's the only setting you changed in the Y-Axis-pane, you can also use "Reset to default" to reset everything to auto:

Hi AmyD
In Power BI, to reset the Y-axis range back to Auto after manually setting a value:

Select the visual (your stacked column chart).

Go to the Visualizations pane >> Y-axis >>Range >> Start / End.

If you see a fixed value like 3000, click inside the box and delete the number, then press Enter or Press outside of the box - make sure the box is completely blank (not 0).

Once blank, Power BI automatically reverts the axis range to Auto.
