Change the data source information in Advanced Editor

Hello, I'm connecting to a DB2 database. I have connected to a test file in a test library. I have since changed the data source in the Advanced Editor to the Production Library & File.  I want to confirm I have done this correctly (results in my report are correct). I'm now quesitoning if the 2nd line below, which refrences the  DB2 file from the (test) library needs to be updated? Note, the red font denotes the test library and green denote the production library. Thank you!

YXXLIBN = Source{[Schema="YXXLIB"]}[Data],

 OXXXXXX2 = YXXLIBN{[Name="OXXXXXX1"]}[Data],

Hi @carH ,

Based on your description, I think it is enough to change the "source" part as long as you are sure that the content edited later also exists in the new data source.

You can just change the data source in Power Query Advanced Editor or change it in “Data source settings”.

If you have two or more tables which are from the same datasource , I suggest that you could choose the latter method . It is more convenient .

Hope that's what you were looking for.

Best Regards,

Yuna
