Change the data source from Power BI dataset to Azure Analysis Service

Hello Expert,

I have two reports one which has complete data model(measure, hierarchy, RLS and all other wonders 😀) and one report which is just UI which is using report 1 data set as source.

Now we have migrated the complete data model in Azure Analysis Service and now want to change the report 2 source from Power BI Dataset (report 1 dataset ) to Azure Anlaysis Service.

We make sure that entire data model is as is migrated so our report 2 should not break but coulnd't find any solution to change the data source for report 2 untill and unless we publish the blank report using AAS as source and use that report as data source for report 2 but we wanted to use directly AAS instead of going through indirect route.

Really appreciate if you can share any solution to this problem, thanks!!!

Thank you @MFelix for sharing the link, really infomrative.

But in my scenario, it is changing source of one file connected in live mode to another source which is also live mode.

second report connected to Power BI dataset which is in live mode and now want to change it to Azure analysis service (again in Live mode).
