Hi All,
I'm migrating a dashboard from Excel to PowerBI, it combines job hours and job costs to present them as a single metric (% of budget)... I've scaled data values which works well, but I'd like to show the actual number as a data label.
In excel you can set the value for a data label using the "Value from Cells" option in Data Label formatting. Is there an equivalent feature in PowerBI???
Thanks and Regards
Hi @gerhick,
The native Power BI visuals do not supports data label other than the measure being used. You can, however, use the tooltip feature or use the Infographic Designer visual from the office store. https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/power-bi-visuals/WA104380898?src=office&tab=Overview

Hi @danextian,
Thanks for that, I'm already using the tooltip - it's not as useful as data labels, but it'll have to do. The infographic doesn't appear to allow stacking data (as with a stacked bar or column chart), so it won't work in this project.
I've also noticed a bullet graph in the store, so I might check that out too.
