Change query and Function

Hi,

 

After Published my pbix file to Power BI service, I need to change some query or function, Can we do this in the Service or Need to do this changes in pbix file and re publish. 

 

Becuase I used imported methoed, my pbix file imported data is not updated than in the service, Do I need to Export my latest Updated pbix file and need be done this changes(Query and Function changes) and re pubublish. am I Correct ?

You need to change the data model (queries and functions) always in desktop and then republish.  Changes to data can also be done this way, but you can also install the power bi gateway (google it).
