Change default Drop down value to current year
I have a date drop down list that has 2019 and current year, the default select is ALL, I would like the ALL to change to Current so the user doent have to click on the drop down every time. is there a way to do it ?
I created a new bookmark with the saved filter and that fixed it to have a default value. thx !

Whatever you save the slicer selection as when building the report will be the 'default' selection when users view the report.

It is not supported to implement your demand in Power BI currently .There are similar ideas about this issue, please vote it up, Default Selected Slicer or Tile-By Value Configuration , Default dynamic value for Slicer visual , to improve the Power BI.
It is a place for customers to provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
We also submitted this feedback to the product group internally, so that the product group can pay attention to this problem and speed up the issue repairing.
