Change data source of data model to new SQL database

Hi,

I am new to Power BI, There are multiple data models created in the Power BI service and all data models are using SQL database.

 

The new SQL database is created with the change in the table structure and table name, the customer wants to change the power BI data source to a newly create SQL database

 

what is the easy way to achieve this task?

    Hi AkkiDev 

    How to replace Data Source for existing report: 

    If the fields of both data sources are the same, just go to the Data source settings to make changes.

     

    If the fields in the new data source have changed, you need to go to Power Query - Advanced Editor and change the code
