Change data source of a particular visual in a Power BI report?

Hello - I am looking to change the data source of a particular visual in a Power BI report without affecting the data source for all the other visuals in that same report.  Is this possible?  Or, do data source changes affect ALL visuals on a given report?

It is not possible. though, You can add the source and change the visual

I've added the new data source to the report - how to I change to the new data source for just a particular visual?  Or, do I have to rebuild the visual from scratch so that it references the new data source?

If the data source has the same structure as the one used for the visual then you just need to switch the fields from one source to another. Else you will need to start over from scratch
