Change data source from ODBC to Push dataset

Hello Experts,

 

We have built some reports on Mysql using ODBC route.

Now we have a push dataset available with same fields.

 

Question is can we point exisiting reports to Push dataset or I will have tpo create all the variables again?

Need Help

    Hi Anonymous,

     

    Normally, if you use the similar connector, we could change data source under Data source setting directly.

     

    For your scenario, you may need edit the source in advanced Editor. Modify the source path after Source.

      Thanks Cherry v-piga-msft for the response.

       

      Edit queries option is disabled for push data set so I cant reference the connection details to put in advanced editor of ODBC based report.

       

      Can you please share the changes I should do in the editor.

       

      Or its not possible to change data source from ODBC to Push dataset?
