Change an Object to string

I'm very new with working with Cosmos DB.

I've connected to our Cosmos DB and extracted the columns I need. But my ID column is showing wierd letters.

I've checked in the Cosmos DB and see that the column is an object, how is it possible to change this object to a string in powerbi?

This is what it's currently showing me in PowerBI:

ID column.PNG

This is how the ID is in our Cosmos DB:

"_id" : ObjectId("5c613dfa6385121416f7dc10"),
	"date" : {

Thanks for the help.

Hi @Anonymous ,

For Json object stored in Azure Cosmos DB, we need to switch to the Power BI Query Editor window, then click on the expander at the right side of the Document column header.
