Change US text form to UK Date format

Hello.

I have the following data coming in from a dataflow.

PPStar_0-1714572016676.png

I need to have this as a Date field and in the UK format.

I change the Column to a date column, then i changed the locale to US and it gives me back the below

Why are some values coming back as errors?

When i click on an error (for e.g. the first one it says "DataFormat.Error: We couldn't parse the input provided as a Date value.
Details:
1/31/2023"

In Power BI Options, my current File regional settings are set to English (United Kingdom)

Can someone please assist?

Thanks

Hi @PPStar

You can change the locale from English (United States) to English (United Kingdom) through the following path:

File → Options and Settings → Options

will get you the screen like below where you can change your locale.
