Change Type from Date to Text - Wrong Date Format
Hi,
In Power Query Editor, when I change type from date to text, the text date format changes.
The date format of the date column is dd/mm/yyyy
When type is changed to text, the format changes to yyyy/mm/dd
Any way of keeping the text format as dd/mm/yyyy?

This could be because of your locale settings.
To check this, navigate to "File" --> "Options and settings" --> "Options"Click on "Current file" in the left pane --> "Regional Settings" and check the "Locale for import" setting
What is the locale setting for your file?
