Change Source is grayed for Power BI dataflow
Hi All
I built a relatively big data model which is connected to a dataflow.
For administrative purposes, I need now to move my dataflow to another workspace ..
I made a copy of the dataflow by exporting and importing a JSON file and for an unknown reason, I needed to change the ALLOWNATIVEQUERIES to false.
I went to my desktop file and I tried to change the source to the new Workspace and dataflow but I found the Change source button is not active !!
what could be the resonse and how to solve it ???
Thanks a lot in advance
Regards
Hi Nazdac911 ,
When the option button [Change Source ...] is disabled, which forces us to change manually within the Power Query Advanced Editor. If we start a query creating a variable instead of starting with the connection to the Data Source, the option to change the Data Source in the simple way you saw at the beginning of this article will be automatically disabled. We need to create these variables in a separate query, so we can use these variables in any other Query and at any step of it, but not in the first.
