Hello GuneetB ,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabic Community Forum.
Akash_Varuna Thank you for your quick inputs.
You still see both the old and new tenants in Power BI, even though all workspaces have been moved to the new domain and the old domain account has been removed.
You can try the below workarounds:
- Leave the Old Tenant
- Use this link format:
https://myaccount.microsoft.com/organizations/leave/{TENANT_ID} - Replace {TENANT_ID} with the actual ID of the old tenant to remove yourself.
- Clear Browser Cache
- Sign out of all Microsoft accounts.
- Clear browser cache and cookies or use an incognito window.
- Contact IT/Admin (if needed)
- Ask your admin to remove your account from the old tenant if you can’t do it yourself.
- If the old tenant is no longer used, request decommissioning to prevent future confusion.
If the issue still persists, I’d recommend raising a support ticket with Microsoft. The support team can look into the backend and provide more in-depth assistance tailored to your environment.

Hi GuneetB Transfer workspace ownership from the old domain to the new domain users. Re-share the workspaces with the new domain users or groups. Once ownership and access are updated, you can consider removing the old tenant. Also, ensure that data source credentials reflect the new domain.
workspaces have already been transfered to the new domain.
but in the new domain i am getting an option to switch tenants,
one registered with old domain and one with new.
and the old domain id has been removed from workspaces.
