Change Dataflow in PowerBI Desktop

Hi,

   I have created a dataflow(connected to PROD source database) in powerBI service and imported it into powerBI desktop and built some reports.

 

My Requirement:

 

1. I have created a copy of my eixsting PROD dataflow

2. Changed the second dataflow to point to our QA database.

3. Now i am trying to poiny my dekstop file to NEW QA dataflow (from PROD dataflow)

 

I dont want to change existing dataflow connections from PROD to QA , because users are accesssing the reports.

    revansh , if you are using deployment pipeline, the connection of dataflow should change from Dev -> Test -> Prod

     

    If you are not using one. You need to change Ids. the best way is add them as another table, just copy the top few lines and replace in Power Query -> Right click on table -> Advance Editor
