Certified Dataset and data merge

When connecting my Power BI report to a certified dataset, I cannot add any other data source. Will this be made possible in future or is there a workaround to achieve this?

Hi @Cars1010 ,

In my opinion, your requirement could not be fulfilled since the certified dataset is protected. In addition, when connect to Power BI datasets , a live connection to the selected dataset is established.

@Cars1010 - Well, once it is certified it is supposed to be "locked". Now, the roadmap has on it the ability to have composite models for Live datasets. So, coming soon maybe? I think it is on the roadmap for October last I checked. https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/roadmap/

@Cars1010 , I doubt you can add another dataset with a power bi dataset as of now.
