Certificate Chain Not Trusted Error Effecting PowerBI Only

I ended up adding an ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server Connector and accessing the data in Power BI through ODBC instead and it seems to work.

Regarding the issue you raised, my solution is as follows:
In my test, using Microsoft account verification, the following error screenshot appeared:
1.If you have created a credential authentication method for sql data sources, you can edit the permission in the following page in the desktop:
2.First you need to open SQL server Configuration Management, open the project, and then restart the computer:
3.Log in to the database using window authentication:
4.Next, right-click on the server to open properties:
5.Select Security in the pop-up server tree menu, then select SQL server and windows Authentication Mode:
6.Log in to SQLserver as your domain user, change the password, and continue to restart the computer.
7.Then you can select "Database" in the SQLserver connection credentials, the following screenshot may appear, click "ok" can be.
