Hello Experts,
I have a scenario which is creating a big problem
Scenario :
I have two columns from same table
1. Geo Level : Values [ Nation, Region, Division, Territory]
2. Geo Name: Depending on the above selection we will have filtered value.
Now Lets say i have selected Nation as Geo Level which will have Geo Name value selected as India.
But when now i select the Region and it should have value which is related to region lets say West is the region which shows the value as expected but the previous value of India remain selected even if i change the value is changes to region.
The relation-ship are properly applied.
Any help is welcome
Is this a bug in power bi.
Thanks and regards,
Shraddha B
I"m facing the same issue. Has anyone resolved it?
HI, @Anonymous
I have tested on my side, but not reproduce the issue.
Could you share some screenshots with the explanation? It's better you could share a simple sample pbix file.
Best Regards,
Lin
Hi,
Thanks for your quick response, one point to note is we have applied security and the relationship is in both direction..
Thanks
hi, @Anonymous
I have test on your file, It is not a bug issue,
When you select the value in one slicer, when you click on any other visual(include slicer).
the selected value of this slicer won't be changed, even if you edit interaction of them.
In your case, when you select Nation first and select India again. the Region shouldn't appear in the first slicer, so you use edit interaction of them to keep first slicer won't be interacted. But even so, when you change the value of first slicer to Region, the second slicer selected value still keep India and it is available before it is changed manually.
Best Regards,
Lin
Interesting question, would love to help you but i need more info.
Could you please recreate the issue in a PBIX file without corporate sensitive data?
