    Hi Jsivihwa

It looks like most of the people are on the same boat as there have been similar reports from other users too  experiencing issues with conditional formatting on the new card visual in the April 2025 Power BI update. This seems to be a regression or a potential bug introduced in the latest version. As you mentioned, the static background color works fine, but the conditional formatting using a measure no longer updates the background as expected, which points to a rendering or logic break in the new visual behavior.

For now, a potential workaround would be to revert to the previous card visual (the classic version, if still available) or to use a different visual like a multi-row card, table, or even matrix with conditional formatting until Microsoft addresses the issue. It's also a good idea to report the bug through the Power BI feedback portal or Issues forum, and monitor the monthly Power BI release notes or patch updates for any hotfixes.

In the meantime, ensure your measure is returning the expected color format (like "#FF0000") and double-check that the field is correctly linked in the conditional formatting pane, just to rule out any other misconfigurations.
