Card (new) Visual Spacing and Padding

card_viz.png

Hello All -

Can anyone help me with my spacing and padding issues please? I'm using the Card (new) and a screenshot of it appears above. I have a couple of issues I would like to fix:

  1. I'd like to decrease the space between each callout value card, represented by the red
  2. I'd like to justify the Values of the two Reference labels to the right, represented by the blue. In doing this, I'm hoping that my label won't be truncated like it is now (it's only 5 characters: a delta symbol, space, YTD).

There are so many areas for configuration, and it seems like I've tried everything.  A couple of things you should know:

  • the General Layout is in the Card style
  • Reference Labels Layout is Tabular. Value Area is 54%
  • Card Padding is set to Wide

Thanks for your help.

Hi @a68tbird

Regarding the spacing between cards: This can be customized. Please see the attached image.

Regarding the values below: There's not much more to do than slightly increase the width of the cards and choose a modest font like Calibri.

The pbix with the example is attached

Hi @a68tbird The key thing here is that to be able to change the red bit you have to have your cards set up as a "grid" not as "single row" or "single column" (in Layout)

I spent hours trying to figure that out and none of the official documentation or community support answers seem to mention it.
