Card Conditional Formatting based on comparing Measures

I have the following comparison measure:

Compare Sunday to Baseline =
VAR RecentSundayOrders = [Orders Last Sunday]
VAR BaselineAvgSundayOrders = [Avg Orders Sunday]
RETURN
IF(
    RecentSundayOrders > BaselineAvgSundayOrders,
    "Green",
    "Red"
)

Instead of returning "Green" or "Red" I'd like to return the value of [Orders Last Sunday] and use conditional formating to change the color of the value's font to green or red based on whether or not it's greater or less than the based line value from [Avg Orders Sunday].

Is that possible?

  • jbcorlikow ,

    Create a new Measure:

FontColour = IF( [OrdersLastSunday] < [AvgOrdersSunday], "Red", "Green" )

In the Orders Last Sunday  card visual, use the Font formatting rules and point to this new measure.

Please refer to attached pbix file if necessary.

Edit:  I haven't taken into account where they are equal.  You can choose red, green or an alternate colour.

    Regards,

        jbcorlikow ,

If you don't like the default "Red" and "Green", you can get a little fancier and use the #hexcode of the colours of your choosing.
