Capacity Dashboard. assigning weight to role/Project

HI Team_Charlotte

 

Currently I can create a table showing employee names and Scheduled Go Live Date projects per month.

The idea is to “Connect” the name of the employee and according to his/her role (IPM, RPM) use the “weight assigned”.

 

IPM – the capacity is 3 CUIDs (Scheduled projects) x month ( 0.33 of total capacity x CUID)

RPM – regional capacity is 4 CUIDs (Scheduled projects) x month ( 0.25 of total capacity x CUID)

 

For example, Robert Smith (IPM role) should show:

Apr shows 5 projects --- 5 X 0.33 x CUID --- 1.65 (Above expectations)

May shows 2 projects --- 2 x 0.33 x CUID – 0.66 (Below expectations)

 

we can have some other combinations but for now, I would like to know if something can be done.

 

I have the  formula below to calculate the full capacity vs Scheduled projects x month.

Full Capacity =
Switch( true() ,
Sheet1[Role] = "IPM", 3,
Sheet1[Role] = "RPM", 4,
blank()
)

 

That's not really true because we have new hires during the year or people decides to leave. Tried to use Today's date vs end date in the role but not really working:

 

Full Capacity2 =
Switch( true() ,
Sheet1[Role] = "IPM", 3,
Sheet1[Role] = "RPM", 4,
blank()
)
EXCEPT (IF((MAX(Sheet1[Todays date2])>=MAX(Sheet1[End Date in the role])&&NOT(ISBLANK(MAX(Sheet1[End Date in the role])))
