Cannot select date in dropdown on some tables.

Hello,

I am having an odd issue where some of my tables will not allow me to create an x-Axis based on a date. I have a datetime field and the date heiracrhy works. However, on sometables I can choose to change it to date. On others i cannot. They are all datetime from the modeling point of view. See photo below.

Is this expected?

I believe that in the example that you show that your date column is called StartTime, correct? Choosing StartTime from the drop down should display it as a Date. It displays the name of the column, not just "Date" all the time. My thought here is that in your other tables, the date field is called "Date".

Yes you are correct the field I am working with is Starttime. Which is in the format of  DateTime. Which is the same for all of my tables. If i select just the field "Startime" it keeps the time, which makes the histogram only have 1 per bucket. I have tried converting it to a date in the model but still didnt work as expected.

Below is the example from one of the tables which is working. Again they are all datetime formats.

Im not sure why sometables work and others do not.
