Cannot pull dataset into Power BI desktop

Hi guys!

 

My question is a bit complicated but Ill try to explain it as best as I can. Essentially, I have pulled a dataflow in Power BI desktop. Now I am trying to pull another dataset that is a semantic model (not a dataflow) from Microsoft Fabric Power BI (online workspace). But it is not appearing as an option under the "Get Data" - "Semantic Models". Am I able to pull a semantic datset and add it to a datflow? Or might it be a permission issue?

 

Please let me know if that makes sense 🙂

    Hi Aleksa_Hadzalic,

     

    Try the following connect to the semantic model it will give you connected model, no tables available, then add the dataflow it will tell you that the model will change to composite but that is normal.

     

    If you are not abble to add the dataflow first do enter data and add a new table without information just a column then add the dataflow and delete the previous table.
