Cannot open .pbix file. Get "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error
I published a report and dataset to the service yesterday. Today I can no longer open the .pbix file, either the original one or one I downloaded from the service. When I try I get an error that says "Something went wrong. Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
From reading older posts, this seems to have something to do with the Power Query layer, and the trace (below) does include a lot of Mashup evaluator mentions. Also this is a Composite Model, and when I open the report in the browser, the visuals I know are using the Aggregation table are working, but the ones I know are using the Direct Query source are not. My data source is Snowflake.
This represents many hours of work lost. I don't want to rebuild if it's just going to happen again.
Any help is most appreciated.

I have the same problem now with the Feb 2020 update. I'm unable to open any of my pbix files with composite data models and this is really really blocking me from my work!!!
