Cannot open Power BI Desktop

I recently installed the November update and then by the afternoon I started to get the below error whenever I tried to open any PBIX file.  I rolled back to the October version and I get the same thing.

Any ideas?

Hi @Daviejoe ,

Do you have a 64-bit or 32-bit installation of Power BI Desktop?
Did you install your Desktop from the Window App Store or from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=45331 ?
We recommend that you try uninstalling and reinstalling.

Also, please check to see if your firewall is blocking this activity.

I have the 64 bit and I downloaded it from the link you included.  

Very strange.
