Cannot open PB desktop. Error Message: Unable to create the directory, No write permission
Hi experts,
I am new to powerbi and would appreciate your help.
When I was transforming data in power query, the mouse somehow turns to a blue circle... and keeps loading for more than an hour. So I go to task manager to end the program. When i am trying to reopen power bi, the following error occrus.

Anonymous , Make sure you have enough hard disk and RAM. Free space on Hard disk keep min 20 GB free space. 8 to 16 GB RAM in system should be good

thanks for your reply. I doubt if it's the memory issue because I checked I have enough memory for hard disk and RAM.
This issue happened the third time. The first two times I resolved the issue by uninstall and reinstall powerbi desktop. But i assume there would be a better solution instead of uninstall the software everytime. btw my dataset is less than a thousand line and I haven't performed any complicated calculation.

In case anyone has the same issue as I do, I end up doing "Repair" instead of "uninstall+install", that's a bit faster.
